History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Surina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Namfoodle liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Fortune-teller born in the past three hundred years. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He has worked as a Slave Trader like his mother before him.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This woman stands a little under 2'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: Pearl speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pearl grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Pearl took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
