Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Ella enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Ella and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Morkral was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

History: She got into the Painter business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she is greedy

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born in the west. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
