He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Isabella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Blacksmith born in the past three hundred years. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: She got into the Miller business at a young age. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is greedy.
