History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beloril fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Alice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Courier. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Courier soon after.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Expand his business; and doesn't want to be a baker and was forced into it by his family

His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Emerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
