History: Joser was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She usually wears her green robe and has her rapier always slung over her shoulder. Her rusty crest is unkempt and raggedy. Her gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jezean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Now he works as a singing tutor during his time off.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her druidic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Description: 6'2" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a shortspear on her belt. She has moderate length black crest. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Apothecary business.

History: Arava was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has worked as a Herbalist like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Shava enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
