History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.
