History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Avelina grew up listening to her father's many stories. Avelina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Avelina decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Skamos is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Seamstress, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control.
