History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Through the years after Volen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Volen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Volen never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Tailor. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now owns her own business.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born into a rich family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Xappan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
