History: Gifted from a young age, Shivering studied abroad. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
