History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aldous grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Heather learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ruler for the past few years.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dee studied abroad. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Dee and her spouse have recently divorced.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
