She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Beast was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second daughter.
