History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: She was born into a rich family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Ahinar liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
