History: Born in the west to a Hunter, Meriele learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Taklinn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Vonana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vonana alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Ruler.
