History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quick grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Korfel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Korfel was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Five liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Makaria was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Shepherd.
