History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ridaro grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ridaro. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
