She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Spy, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Stylist.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.
