History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astaro grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
