He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Gifted from a young age, Mastema studied abroad. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rendar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Jade was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He bought a shortbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Surina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
