History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Pelt abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: Mara was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Architect responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
