History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Thiala was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has worked as a Healer like her mother before her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her first spouse was a Ploughman, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.
