History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: Purban was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He now owns his own business.
