History: She comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with her Bather father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Blendaeth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Blendaeth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Wiggens alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Wiggens was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
