History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She tends to her Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, and she perpetually has her trident ready. She wears a deerstalker hat to hide her balding. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gold.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Doudra was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Doudra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he wants revenge against goblins

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Assassin, but she got bored and became a Detective. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She is a Marshal first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Marshal. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and money/treasure

Description: This man is very fat, and is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has worked as a Baker like his mother before him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and expand his business

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His white fur is braided into rings. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Ruler profession.

History: Shifting was born with his mother's beautiful face. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'11". She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Helja grew up listening to her father's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and seeks redemption
