History: Xappan hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Tatyan was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has worked as a Carter like her mother before her.
