History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Oren liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ortegar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ortegar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ortegar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
