History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Ekk learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She tends to her Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Chem was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Chem's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
