History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Jacoba reached her early adolescence her Half-Elf mother passed away. History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Bethrynna lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
