He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Emeny hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Emeny alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spice Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.
