History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Theirastra grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theirastra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theirastra. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shanairla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
