History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
