History: The child of a Mercenary, who enjoyed hunting, Kathra was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She carries with her a set of hammers on her belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. Her black fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Her eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Three took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Three fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gray.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is harsh and unforgiving.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Pyntle was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pyntle's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and further expansion of business

History: Norman lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Trey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Qemuel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
