History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
