Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Merla isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Orcs.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying west to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Engong was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and many drow want her driven away

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Sage. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Zook was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Interpreter and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is content.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Motivation: She's in love; and she would like to get married and retire
