History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Halander was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Halander's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Halander never married again.
