She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Rathkran wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Rathkran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Dyer and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to prove her worth to the world

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
