History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He usually wears his white robe and has his longsword always slung over his shoulder. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are hazel.
Personality: Torz is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: Torz was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Apothecary kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is obsessed with her god.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting brigands, the young Markosian began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gynk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
