History: Born in the west to a Sellsword, Paelias learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Thava was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Thava was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
