Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Shanairla was born with her mother's beautiful face. Shanairla was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Marshal. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the south to a Interpreter, Hupe learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to unite with his brother

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Caeldrim enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Caeldrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He struck the Banker job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Banker and was forced into it by his family; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barkeep and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
