Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Joan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A freak accident while working with her Tailor father left her crippled. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Joan was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the east. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and balancing her hectic life and new barber responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Glassblower born in the past three hundred years. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and many gnolls want him driven away
