History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emma was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Jasmine is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Spring was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Spring's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody.
