He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Avice took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
