History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age her father died while driving off some illithids. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in rapier use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away.

Description: This woman wears a worn and beaten armor, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Her gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Markosian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Markosian was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Markosian decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
Motivation: Expand her business; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has shaved his head bald. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Slave Trader business.
History: Râsh was born the youngest of three triplets. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Slave Trader like his mother before him.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: An older woman who wears a blue Stetson hat and blue clothes, she is not a threatening figure. Her long brown hair reaches down to her waist. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Cumpen learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: Standing 6'3", this man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He sports a flattop crest cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Mreksh liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mreksh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
