History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Mortician, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Glassblower.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Vlorn lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Eida lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Moon was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.

In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gorgûm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
