Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Beiro's homeland. Beiro decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stylist for the past few years.

History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a Mason, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Mason, but she got bored and became a Dilettante. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fistula grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Right-Handed speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things
