History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Thea's homeland. Thea decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and wants his loneliness to end

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Ielenia lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and to unite with her sister

History: Born to a Seamstress, her father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Banker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
