History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eleanor grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Pikar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
