History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She worked as a nervous Shepherd and found it very stressful. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east.
