History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. History: Born in the north to a Mason, Vani learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers.
