History: Beatrice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Beatrice grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered drow who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

She has since lost track of the people in her past.
