Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paela fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He got into the Adventurer business at a young age. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Adventurer.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Apothecary but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired her part-time. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Detective, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
